3rd Andurien Rangers

   So my FWL/Marik cap that I got from the Harebrained Schemes Battletech KS is almost just threads. So I need a new cap, and why not show the battlelion I know and love... The 3rd Andurien Rangers of the Duchy of Andurien, Free World League.

  So this is what I am going with, the 3AR represents a horse on a sand circle. Why not my horse along with the Duchy & FWL logo on the sides.
  The Star League is know to fight among other factions & Clans, The Duchy fight with other province within the Free World League and well the Former 9th Free World Legionaires (3rd Andurien Rangers) companies fought with each other. The only true way to stop a conflict is dig yourself a grave, or let someone dig one for you. As long as you have heart, you can continue the fight.

  So I had originally chosen the Star Captain pledge with an Add-on of the Combat Armor, because it sounded bad-ass and the fact that I haven't got the second installment. With this being the third Battletech Mini Pack. I already have the first with the Tabletop game and poorly painted minis, on my part. . plus purchase other minis from Iron Winds...(still in blister pack) I will get around to painting them too.... eventually.
  Then after a discussion with a few and releasing that I would only get two lance packs I figured I could up it to the Bloodname pledge and get two extra lances for plus whole lot of other stuff valued a whole lot more. Including a Marik (FWL) T-shirt.




I know what you are thinking that I am such a big kid, but I have to have a hobby that isn't toxic to myself or my surroundings.
Beside the fact that I got my refund (pulled out the PGI Mechwarrior 5 sudden change), This still goes to the Battletech/Mechwarrior community that I am a big fan of, since the early 1990's.
Nothing beats piloting a 25-100 tonnage stompy tank with legs and really feel these machines of war create pure rainbows of devastation.

Landscape trees, grass, fluffy stuff that crumbles to pieces at the slightest touch. Blugh hence the tank. Plus saves future cleaning... ie dusting.

Purchased a kit model from FCY: Battlemech Club

 

The hard part is first is sanding down the little bits and bumps. And making sure all parts fit correctly.

Felt like it was going to take a lifetime...

 

After finally assembling my Vulture and putting the 1st layer on it. It is starting to look more like a Mech and less like modelled resin.



Now I am happy, just need a full weekend (4days) to sit down and do some painting. Then another for the decals.
